Change-ringers - a list for change-ringers and other traditional bellringers

About Change-ringers
This list, founded by Ken Olum in 1992, is the oldest mailing list devoted to change ringing.  Its policy is that messages should be directly related to ringing.  Subscribers are asked to conform to the list policy.  The current moderator is Simon Bond.  The list administrator is John Camp.  Only subscribers may post to the list.

There is another list for ringers, called "ringing-chat", which has a less restrictive policy on content.  See its web page for further information.

You may also be interested in the Changeringing Wiki.  This is hosted by Graham John and supersedes the RINGWIKI which was hosted on this server.

Change-ringers archives

The archives from 2002 onwards, for which your list password is needed, can be found here.  If you don't know what your list password is, you can have it sent to you (see below). The archives are not currently searchable.   Subscribers should contact the list administrator if there are any difficulties.

Using Change-ringers
Only subscribers may post messages to the list. Send your message to change-ringers@bellringers.org.  You are asked to send your messages in plain text. Please observe the list convention of bottom-posting (i.e. put your response after the message you are replying to). Please do not quote more of the message under reply than is necessary for continuity.

You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
